Most people leave the most emotional gathering of their life to chance.
When someone we love passes away, the celebration that follows is the most emotionally charged gathering any of us will ever attend. Yet it gets planned in 72 hours, by people who are exhausted and grieving, with no brief, no budget, and no idea what you would have actually wanted. The result is rarely you. It's a formality. A box ticked. And the people who love you most deserve more than that.
What Encore is
A private act of love.
It's the celebration you design — on your terms, at your scale, with the people you choose — and hold close until the moment it's needed. No committee. No compromise. Just an honest, deeply considered gathering that reflects exactly who you are and what you want the people you love to feel and remember.
You hold this. They experience it.
We handle everything in between.
The experiences
Every Encore is different.
You are in control of how you say farewell.
A dinner for eleven at a private home in the hills. Her favourite meal, made by the same chef who catered her 40th. The playlist she had been quietly building for twenty years. A single letter, read aloud after dessert — addressed to everyone in the room.
A road trip across the Scottish Highlands. Seventeen people. Seven days. Every stop a place that had meant something to him. The rules were his. The clues were written in his handwriting. Nobody knew the route until they were already on it.
A private screening of his favourite film. The same cinema they visited every year on his birthday, hired for one night. Catered, unhurried, exactly as he would have arranged it. Before the lights went down, his voice came through the speakers — a recording made for this moment, speaking directly to everyone in the room. Some people laughed. Most cried. All of them felt him there.
A long weekend on the Amalfi Coast. Fifty guests. Three days of shared meals, open water, and music she had chosen. A letter read at sunrise on the final morning — one written for each person at the table.
A board game nobody had ever played before — because she made it. Two years in the making. Every question drawn from a lifetime of shared memories. Every challenge written for the specific people in the room. Twelve around the kitchen table. Hidden underneath each chair — a small envelope with their name on it, opened only at the end. The game lasted five hours. Nobody wanted it to stop.
An Amazing Race across three cities. His friends, divided into teams, following clues he had spent a year writing. Every location was a chapter of his life. The prize was a bottle of the whisky they had all shared the night they met.
How it works
Five steps. A lifetime of meaning.
Begin your brief
Tell us who you are — not the CV version. The real version. Your people, your places, your music, your moments. We ask the questions most people have never been asked.
We design your Encore
We take everything you've shared and build a full proposal — the experience, the guest list, the locations, the vendors, the feel, the budget. You review it, shape it, own it.
We refine it together
Your Encore should feel exactly right. We work with you until it does. No fixed menus. No standard packages. This is your brief, and it should be unmistakably yours.
We hold it ready
Your plan is documented and managed by us — updated as your life evolves, held securely in your private account. Ready when the time comes.
Your people just show up
When the moment arrives, we activate everything. Your family receives an invitation. We handle every detail. Their only job is to be present.
The brief
The most valuable 20 minutes you'll spend on yourself.
A set of questions designed to help you find the honest, unfiltered version of yourself. Your people, your places, your moments. There's no cost. No obligation. Just your time — and the rare experience of being asked to really think about what you'd want.
Entirely private. Held securely under your own account.
How it works financially
Simple, transparent, and agreed upfront.
Pricing is discussed once we understand the scale and nature of your Encore. No surprises — ever.
We work with a small number of clients each year.
Encore is not a platform. It is a relationship. We take on a limited number of new clients annually to ensure every plan receives the attention it deserves. If you are considering this, the right time to begin is now.
Reserve your place
When you're ready, we're here.
Add your name. We'll be in touch with an invitation to begin.
Your details stay with us. We don't share them.
